Gary Keenan, resident art director/designer for CreativeGroup.TV, contacted era//404 for assistance in executing a prime-time promo for Outdoor Life Network's coverage of the Boston Marathon. era//404 3D artists worked closely with Keenan, concepting and building animated elements suggesting extreme perspective scenes from Boston's skyline. The New Charles River Bridge was the focus of the elements, composited together with rotoscoped footage of marathon runners, by CreativeGroup.TV flame artists, Miguel Oldenburg and Craig Lamson.
