Implementation
The system is built to run on Linux servers with MySQL database capabilities. If era//404 designed your Web site for you, your server is probably set-up for our content management system. All you'll need to do is specify what type of functionality you'd like and provide initial content and authentication information. If another business designed your site, we can traditionally implement the CMS system into most pre-existing programming. Regardless of the origin of the Web site, each piece of the era//404 CMS can be designed to use your colors, fonts, and style sheets, for a fully transparent integration into your company's brand.

User Types
era//404 CMS provides you with three different levels of access: user, member, and admin. Users are standard visitors to your site that don't have to log in for information. Members must log in for secure information (documents, price-sheets, confidential information, etc.). Administrators have access to the entire site and can add, modify, and delete all CMS postings. From the Admin panel, users can enter content (text, images, links, documents) for view in user and member sections.

Interface
All account and content administration is completed through intuitive Web interfaces, so users never need to access databases directly have prior programming experience. Functionality operates similar to most Webmail clients and allows for simple, but comprehensive options. Protection
Content in the Admin panel can be accessed by administrators alone. Access to the member's section is limited to those who provide the correct authentication information. This disables passers-by from stumbling upon projects, especially where confidentiality is key. Administrators may freely add, modify, or delete member access. Files known to carry viruses (pif, vbs, etc.) are automatically blocked from era//404 CMS to deter malicious acts. The application can be set to archive old documents (news articles, press releases, announcements and events, etc.) at a frequency of your choosing.
