Major League Baseball

David Klinkowize, Senior Compositor at CreativeGroup.TV contacted ERA404 about collaborating on the concepting, design and execution of the Major League Baseball packaging for ESPN. The project consisted of heavily art-directed metropolitan imagery, rendered as high-resolution stills for animation and composite in Autodesk Smoke.

The campaign also featured a custom billboard element for projecting tune-in, sponsor logos, and team names. Imagery was also used in a 2-page full color spread in ESPN magazine, to announce the graphic campaign and baseball season.

The Unnamed, by Joshua Ferris

Little Brown and Company imprint, Reagan Arthur Books, selected ERA404 to design the site for their inaugural release, The Unnamed, by Joshua Ferris. The site features 35 original sound-bytes of mysterious diseases, tracked onto original footage from a Grand Central Terminal security video feed. Fans of Mr. Ferris may also learn about the book, author, and read excerpts, press, praise, watch trailers, listen to audio interviews and follow a host of links by the author.

Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe

Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe contacted ERA404 to design and develop the interactive portfolio for her Daufuskie Island series of photography as part of the reprint for her photography essay, Daufuskie Island: Photography by Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe. The site features over 100 images from the book with captions and information about book signings and gallery openings.

For the next release, her portfolio, jeannemoutoussamy-ashe.com, will also include her Landscapes, Cityscapes, Interiors and Early Works. In the past, ERA404 has worked with Ms. Ashe on the design and development of ArthurAshe.org.

Irwin Entertainment

ERA404 worked with Gary Keenan (of CreativeGroup.tv) and John Irwin, President and CEO of Irwin Entertainment, to design and execute the NYC-based production company’s hero logo animation.

Global Investment Research Book

ERA404 worked with a prominent NYC-based Investment Company and Creative Director, William Imboden, to create a 60-page, leather-bound book to document the culmination of a year’s worth of global investment research. The book featured 35 charts, 12 original illustrations (including a three-spread, full-color rendering of Tom Sawyer on the Mississippi), laser-etched cherry wood medallions and tons of research information and photography.Read More
