era404 loves work
Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe contacted ERA404 to design and develop the interactive portfolio for her Daufuskie Island series of photography as part of the reprint for her photography essay, Daufuskie Island: Photography by Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe. The site features over 100 images from the book with captions and information about book signings and gallery openings.
For the next release, her portfolio, jeannemoutoussamy-ashe.com, will also include her Landscapes, Cityscapes, Interiors and Early Works. In the past, ERA404 has worked with Ms. Ashe on the design and development of ArthurAshe.org.
ERA404 worked with a prominent NYC-based Investment Company and Creative Director, William Imboden, to create a 60-page, leather-bound book to document the culmination of a year’s worth of global investment research. The book featured 35 charts, 12 original illustrations (including a three-spread, full-color rendering of Tom Sawyer on the Mississippi), laser-etched cherry wood medallions and tons of research information and photography.Read More
Elli Strauss of First Funds, LLC., hired ERA404 to design, develop and production manage the re-identification project for the NYC-based Business Cash Advance company. Upon selection of an identity system that matched the client’s mission and culture, we worked with Ms. Strauss to carry this concept through their new stationery and signage systems.
ERA404, who has worked with author, Jonathan Safran Foer, on The Project Museum (his personal site) and Who is Augustine? (the exploratory site for Everything is Illuminated) just launched the site for Foer’s much anticipated third book, Eating Animals (Little, Brown and Company, 11/2009). This book, though focused on the same audiences as his fiction, departs from his traditional work in that it is an exploration on his paternal concerns for meat consumption. Watch the trailer, learn about the book and author and interact in the Eating Animals forums.
Be careful, though. He has already converted Natalie Portman. You could be next…
“Working with ERA404 has been not only productive, but pleasurable. They’re hugely imaginative, technical wizards. But more than that, they’re some of the nicest, most responsive people around.”
